Hello and welcome dear visitor. If you want to make DELL Latitude 3540 brighter when running on battery, or brightness is very low when is plugged in, then you need to set brighter option from control panel, or you can press Fn + Up or right keys to do that.

This is the easy way to fix brightness for your DELL Latitude 3540 laptop.

Look at your laptop keyboard for Fn button

Normaly is in bottom left corner, and then look for * brightness adjustment and keep Fn pressed and then push Up - Down - Left or Right.

Now the brightness of your DELL Latitude 3540 notebook is lower or higher right ?
